Getting started

Add a camera

Find a camera on your network and give it a place in your workspace.

Before you start

Check that your Station is online and the camera is powered on. Connect both to the same Wi-Fi or the same router. Guest Wi-Fi can keep devices apart, even when they appear to use the same network.

Find your camera

  1. Open Cameras and choose Add camera.
  2. Choose the Station on the camera’s network.
  3. Choose Find cameras and select your camera from the results.
  4. Enter the camera’s username and password if requested. These may differ from your camera manufacturer’s app login.
  5. Name the camera, choose the Events it should watch for and save.

Check the view

Open the camera to check its status and view. Aim it so the situation you care about is clearly visible, with enough light and as few obstructions as possible.

If nothing is found, the manual connection guide explains how to enter a camera address yourself.
