1. Your agreement

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter a contract. If you act for an organization, you confirm that you may bind it. You enter these terms when you expressly accept them at registration; a paid subscription starts when your order is accepted. Save or print a copy. An individually signed agreement takes priority over conflicting terms here. Our data processing addendum governs customer personal data that we process on your behalf.

Some provisions protect consumers. In these terms, a consumer also includes a sole trader who concludes the contract for a purpose that is not professional for them, in particular in view of their registered business activity (art. 38a of the Polish Consumer Rights Act). Such sole traders have consumer protection for withdrawal, unfair contract terms and the conformity of the service, and the business liability limits in section 13 do not apply to them.

Provide accurate account and billing information, protect your credentials and restrict access to paired Stations. Tell us promptly about unauthorized access. You are responsible for people you authorize to use your account, but not automatically liable for every unauthorized act regardless of fault. Our Privacy policy explains processing; accepting these terms is not consent to unrelated marketing or surveillance.

2. What the service does

When you choose Local model for detection, Station processes the masked frames with an optional model on that computer, without sending them to a cloud AI provider. Assessment results, incident information, usage counts and device health still reach our API. Model downloads contact the selected upstream download hosts. Setup paths are encrypted for the Station; our API stores the encrypted commands and model status, not plaintext paths. Local detection has no AI provider token charge but uses your hardware and electricity. It still requires an active Agentinosaurus account and API connection. Camera Chat is separate and continues to send its images and questions to OpenAI when used.

Agentinosaurus uses AI to assess selected camera frames against Events you describe, organize results and send alerts. Station must remain powered on, connected to compatible cameras and able to reach our API and your selected AI provider. Cloud detection uses your own OpenAI or TypeSafe AI API key. You choose the provider for a Station; cameras inherit it unless you select an override. Station sends frames, Event instructions and relevant assessment history directly to that provider; our API receives assessment results and operational information. You separately contract with and pay each provider you use. Camera Chat continues to use OpenAI independently of the detection provider.

A reference to ChatGPT or OpenAI describes the underlying AI technology, not a ChatGPT subscription, endorsement or partnership. Agentinosaurus is an independent product. Access to a particular model depends on provider availability and your account permissions.

You can also ask a camera a question in Camera Chat. Station captures three fresh frames, or uses the retained incident snapshot when you ask about an incident, and sends them with your question directly to OpenAI using your key. Context lets you describe a place and mark areas. Hidden areas are painted black on Station before frames are analysed, stored as snapshots or sent. Masking covers only the rectangles you draw; it cannot guarantee that a person or object never appears in an image.

3. Technical requirements

To use the service you need an email address; a current version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari with JavaScript and cookies enabled; a computer that stays on to run Station, with Windows 10 or 11 (x64), Ubuntu 24.04 or Debian 12 or newer (x64 or ARM64), or a Raspberry Pi 4 or 5 with a 64-bit operating system; cameras that Station can reach on your network, usually over RTSP or ONVIF; a stable internet connection; and, for cloud detection, an account with your selected AI provider with a key and available credit. Local detection requires enough memory and processing capacity for the selected model. Push alerts also need browser and operating-system support and your permission.

Our camera support directory lists models we have tested; other cameras may need manual stream settings. Supported systems change as browsers, operating systems and providers change. We will tell you in advance when a change ends support for a configuration you use, subject to section 14.

Using services over the internet carries risks, such as malware, phishing, interception of insecure connections and unauthorized access to devices or accounts. Keep your software up to date, use a unique password and two-step verification, and only install Station from our website. You must not supply unlawful content through the service.

4. AI limitations and human review

AI can miss an event, misinterpret a scene, invent details or produce inconsistent results. Lighting, occlusion, camera position, image quality, sampling, movement filtering and the wording of an Event affect results. Continuous mode still analyzes sampled frames; it does not mean every instant is analyzed. A confidence score is not proof. An absence of alerts is not confirmation that a place or person is safe.

We do not promise detection of every event, a particular accuracy, prevention of injury, theft or damage, uninterrupted operation, or delivery within a fixed time unless an express written service-level agreement says otherwise. References to 24/7 describe the ability to configure around-the-clock operation, subject to these dependencies and limitations.

The service is an awareness tool, not a certified alarm, emergency dispatch, medical device or substitute for supervision, fire protection, professional security or legally required safety systems. Do not make it the sole safeguard where failure could cause injury or serious harm. Review observations before acting, particularly before accusing, disciplining or making a consequential decision about a person. In an emergency, use the appropriate emergency services directly.

5. Lawful camera use

You must have the right to connect each camera and a lawful basis to monitor the area and people within it. You determine camera placement, Events, schedules, recipients and retention appropriate to your purpose. Where applicable, provide privacy information and signs, respect employee and tenant rights, obtain required permissions, assess proportionality and carry out a data protection impact assessment. A household exemption does not automatically cover filming public spaces, neighbours or employees.

Do not use the service for unlawful surveillance, harassment, stalking, discrimination, unlawful biometric identification, prohibited inferences about sensitive traits or automated decisions prohibited by law. Do not bypass access or subscription controls, compromise another system, resell access without agreement, or submit material you have no right to process. Rights to interoperability, security research and other activities protected by mandatory law remain unaffected.

Do not create Events or questions that the EU AI Act prohibits. These include inferring the emotions of people at a workplace or in an educational institution, except for medical or safety reasons; categorizing people by biometric data to deduce their race, political opinions, trade union membership, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life or sexual orientation; and recognizing people by their faces. The service is not designed for biometric identification. We may disable an Event that clearly breaches these rules.

If you monitor employees, follow employment law. In Poland, art. 22² of the Labour Code allows camera monitoring only where necessary for staff safety, protection of property, production control or keeping information confidential. It generally excludes sanitary facilities, changing rooms, canteens, smoking rooms and trade union premises. The purposes, scope and method must be set out in workplace rules, employees must be told at least two weeks before monitoring starts, and monitored areas must be marked with visible signs before it starts. Recordings may be kept for up to three months unless they are needed as evidence. Other countries have similar rules.

Monitoring children, patients or other vulnerable people requires particular care. Do not use the service for regulated health data unless you have established a lawful basis, assessed suitability and obtained every required agreement from us and your providers. A page describing a healthcare use case is not a compliance certification or a business associate agreement.

6. Your Station, API key and costs

Keep Station, the operating system, camera firmware and account credentials secure and up to date. A person with administrator access to your Station may obtain usable credentials or local snapshots. Removing a saved API key or unpairing a Station cannot revoke a copy already obtained; revoke or rotate the key with your AI provider when necessary.

AI provider charges, internet, electricity, equipment and third-party automation costs are separate from our subscription. Monitoring can create ongoing usage charges, including charges where an answer is delayed, incorrect or unusable. Our calculator provides estimates, not a quote or spending guarantee. Configure provider budgets and account permissions yourself; their enforcement is governed by that provider.

Power loss, sleep, network faults, API downtime, expired subscriptions, revoked keys, insufficient credit or rate limits can stop analysis and alerts. Old unprocessed frame batches expire rather than being analyzed indefinitely. Local cleanup requires Station to run; files on a powered-off device or independent backups cannot be remotely guaranteed to disappear at a deadline.

7. Trials, subscriptions and camera slots

The free trial lasts seven days and includes one camera slot. It starts with your first successful analysis, not when you sign up, and Billing shows when it ends. AI usage remains payable to your selected provider. The trial needs no card and does not turn into a paid subscription automatically; paid access requires a separate checkout. Trial access ends unless you subscribe. Creating replacement accounts to evade trial limits is not permitted.

Self-service subscriptions are billed monthly in advance and renew each month until cancelled. Prices are in US dollars and are shown before tax. Stripe calculates any applicable VAT or other tax from your billing address and tax status and shows it at checkout before you pay; your bank may charge for currency conversion. Before you pay, we show your plan, camera slots, monthly price and renewal, and you confirm that the service should start immediately. One camera slot is included in each self-service plan; additional purchased slots are charged even when empty, paused or offline. Removing or pausing a camera does not by itself reduce purchased capacity or cancel billing.

A paid subscription contract is concluded when Stripe confirms your first payment. We then send a confirmation by email, a durable medium, with your plan, price, the terms version, your request for an immediate start and information about withdrawal. Stripe issues invoices and receipts, which you can find in payment settings.

Business features, including Webhooks, require an eligible active plan. Use Billing to manage your subscription and purchased capacity. Changes, any prorated charge and their effective date are shown before confirmation. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid period. If you cannot access Billing, contact us. Failed payments may lead to restricted or suspended access following the applicable payment notices.

8. Withdrawal and complaints

If you are a consumer, including a sole trader described in section 1, you may withdraw from a subscription contract within 14 days of concluding it, without giving a reason. We offer the same 14-day withdrawal for every self-service subscription, including business customers. A seven-day trial does not replace or shorten this period, and monthly renewals of the same subscription do not start a new one.

To withdraw, open Settings → Billing, choose Withdraw from contract, enter your name and confirm. We immediately send you an acknowledgement by email with the content of your statement and the date and time we received it. You can also send a clear statement to [email protected] identifying your account and contract. You may use: ‘I withdraw from my Agentinosaurus service contract concluded on [date]. Account email: [email]. Name and address: [details]. Date: [date].’ This form is optional. Your withdrawal is on time if you send it before the period ends.

After withdrawal, the subscription ends immediately and monitoring stops. We reimburse your payments within 14 days of receiving your statement, using the original payment method and without fees. At checkout you expressly ask us to start the service immediately and acknowledge that, if you withdraw, you pay for the service provided until then. We therefore keep an amount proportionate to the time the paid service was available, calculated per day of the billing period, and refund the rest. Without such a request, we refund everything you paid. Simply using a trial, accepting these terms or signing in does not waive withdrawal rights.

Contact [email protected] with the account, a description of the issue and the remedy requested. We will respond to consumer complaints within 14 days where Polish law requires it. Mandatory rights concerning conformity of digital services, remedies, refunds and updates remain available. You may seek assistance from your local consumer authority or, in Poland, a consumer ombudsman or the Trade Inspection. Subscription cancellation and statutory withdrawal are different rights; the Billing cancellation date does not restrict a valid withdrawal or remedy.

9. Content and software rights

You retain your rights in your camera content, Event instructions and other submitted material. You authorize us to process customer data only as necessary to deliver, secure and support the service, follow your instructions and comply with law. This does not give us permission to sell your footage or use your customer content to train general-purpose AI models.

We and our licensors retain rights in the software, branding and documentation. We grant you a non-exclusive right to use the service and install Station for your authorized use during the agreement. Applicable open-source licences govern their respective components. We cannot promise that AI output is original, accurate, exclusive or free of third-party rights.

10. Alerts and integrations

Incident alerts appear in Messages and can be sent by browser push and Webhooks. We use email for account and billing notices, not for incident alerts. Push depends on browser permissions and device push services, and Webhooks depend on systems you choose; deliveries can be delayed, duplicated or fail. You control your endpoints and who receives incident information. Secure those systems, verify webhook authenticity and handle duplicate deliveries. Third-party terms apply to services you choose; we do not control their availability, data handling or charges.

11. Reporting illegal content

Our single point of contact under the EU Digital Services Act, for users, authorities, the European Commission and the European Board for Digital Services, is [email protected]. You can write to us in English or Polish. Content in a workspace is private and is not published to other users.

Anyone can tell us about information in the service they believe is illegal. Explain why, say where it is (for example, the account, camera or Event concerned), give your name and email address and confirm that you believe the report is accurate and complete. We review reports promptly, carefully and objectively, without automated decisions, and tell you what we decided. If we remove content or restrict an account, we tell the affected user why and how to challenge the decision, as described in section 12.

12. Suspension and ending service

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address a security threat, unlawful use, material breach or unpaid charges. Where practicable, we will explain the reason and allow a reasonable opportunity to remedy it. Immediate restriction may be necessary for urgent harm or a legal requirement. You can challenge a restriction by contacting us.

You may cancel renewal through Billing and request account closure by email. Save records you need before closure. Access and monitoring can cease when the agreement ends. Revocation takes effect on Stations as they reconnect or their authorization expires. Closure does not erase copies held by your devices, recipients or your AI provider. Data return and deletion are subject to the Privacy policy, the data processing addendum and mandatory retention duties. If we discontinue a paid service without your breach, we will give reasonable notice and refund prepaid unused service, subject to any stronger statutory rights.

13. Liability

We must exercise the care required by law. The limitations below apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing excludes or limits liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence where it cannot be limited, death or personal injury where exclusion is prohibited, fraud, mandatory data protection liability, or any other non-excludable obligation. Nothing removes consumer statutory rights.

For business customers who do not benefit from mandatory consumer-equivalent protections, and subject to the exceptions above, our aggregate liability arising from the service in a twelve-month period is limited to the fees paid or payable to us for that service in that period. We exclude indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, revenue and business opportunity to the extent permitted by law. These business limitations do not apply to consumers, including the sole traders described in section 1. AI provider fees are not fees paid to us. A signed agreement may set different limits.

You remain responsible for your own lawful monitoring decisions and for losses caused by your breach or misuse to the extent provided by law. These terms do not transfer our own legal responsibilities to you.

14. Changes and applicable law

We may make proportionate changes for legal, security or technical reasons or to improve the service. We will notify you in advance of material contractual or price changes, normally at least 30 days before they take effect, explain their effect and allow cancellation before a new price applies. Changes do not retrospectively alter purchased service. Where consent or additional remedies are required by law, they apply; continued use is not a substitute for legally required express consent.

Polish law governs these terms without depriving consumers of mandatory protection in their country of habitual residence. Consumers may bring claims in the courts available under applicable law. For other business disputes, the competent courts at our registered office have jurisdiction unless mandatory law or a signed agreement provides otherwise. If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder applies insofar as legally possible. Both language versions are intended to have the same meaning; no language priority limits your mandatory rights.
